The backbone of camp. The primary role of counselors is to connect with kids. Among many other responsibilities is keeping campers safe, creating and leading memorable activities, learning each camper's faith story, and caring for them. This position is one of great responsibility and intense meaning as you lead children through their (and your) individual growth at camp.
This is a weekly volunteer position for rising 10th-12th graders who perform an important role in keeping the kitchen and grounds clean while also gaining exposure to the inner workings of camp and our mission
Weekly adult volunteers fill the critical roles of Bible teachers, kitchen assistants, and camp nurse. Volunteering is a great way to participate in WaMaVa's mission when you have a limited summer time commitment but a profound love for our kids at camp.
